I photographed the Prawn nebula and the surrounding hydrogen...



I photographed the Prawn nebula and the surrounding hydrogen gas. It glows red because stars nearby stars are casuing the hydrogen to give off photons, like a cosmic neon light. Within the gas intense star formation is happening. via /r/spaceporn https://ift.tt/2ZpYBsa
